How are you? Are you still in lockdown?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In France we\u2019re slowly going back to normal. For my part, nothing has really changed since I am still home schooling the kids until the end of the month and working from home, I don\u2019t get out much. I admit that I find it pleasant to slow down and no longer chase time. I feel I have time again to breathe and to write\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
May went by quietly but studiously for all my projects!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So here is a small summary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1\/ Translation into English of Poussi\u00e8res de toi<\/em> and coaching<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n If you follow me here or on my french blog, you know that I started a working with a coach. He guides me on the long and tedious road that will hopefully lead me to meet a top literary agent. So I am following his guidelines. I have finished writing the requested synopsis, and I will focus on the query letters for the first 15 days of June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The writing of my novel Poussi\u00e8res de toi <\/em>is finalized with some 13k more words. <\/p>\n\n\n\n As you can see, we\u2019re making good progress here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2\/ Novel 8<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n About my work in progress, I\u2019ve passed the 30k words of the second part. My first part is 59k words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I plan to finish writing the first draft in June. At the moment, being very motivated, I manage to write every day a minimum of 1000 words, which is not so bad when you know that I have the kids around me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I can\u2019t wait to finish this first draft. It would have taken me 6 months, which is honourable, but I want to be able to finalize it and concentrate on the rest. If all goes well, I\u2019m thinking of self-publishing it by the end of the year.
